The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), in association with the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, is organizing the 8th International Railway Equipment Exhibition (IREE 2009) from 24 – 26 August 2009 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

CII, in association with the Ministry of Railways has successfully organised the previous seven editions of IREE. The Ministry of Railways has once again, confirmed their support and participation in IREE 2009 along with all its subsidiaries CLW, DLW, RDSO, RCF, RITES, IRCON etc.

As technological upgradation is the top priority of Indian Railways and many areas have been thrown open for private sector participation, it would be a great opportunity for companies, domestic and international to showcase their latest products and technology and meet the current and future requirement of the Indian Railways. The IREE 2009 will facilitate partnerships, joint ventures; technology transfers and creates an ideal platform for manufacturers and service providers to interact with the key senior officials from Ministry of Railways. An International Conference on Railways is being organised coinciding with IREE 2009, highlighting various aspects relating to the modernisation of Indian Railways.
