RAIL SECURE INDIA 2019

UTME

In recent years the rail industry has increased its focus on security and passenger safety provoked by a rise in incidents of such as thefts, vandalism, and even terrorism. The bombing events in different parts of the country and overseas are signs that rail and metro systems are also vulnerable points for carrying out terrorist attacks against large groups of people. For the safety of passengers it has become imperative for the Indian Railways and the Urban Mass Transport System in India to install modern and effective security systems.

But how do you effectively protect an infrastructure as geographically diverse as Indian Railway network? With stations, tunnels, tracks, bridges, and rolling stock spread over hundreds of kilometers, it presents quite a formidable challenge.

Based on this theme Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organizing the first security focused Railway exhibition and conference along with the 13th IREE from 22 - 24 October at the Aerocity, New Delhi.
